Version 1.1.1

Showdown is a game played on a wooden ball table with a whole on each end of the table.

In the middle there is a board that gives penalty shots.

Point Amounts

  • Goal, 2PTS
  • Penalty, 1PTS for opposite player

Different ways of penalty

  • Ball gets out of the Showdown table.
  • Ball hits centerboard.

Different ways of goal

  • Ball going into opposite whole.

In the season, the regular season is 16 games long.

The playoffs usually could change from how many teams there are in the league.

Decision symbols for devision standings

By the time the regular season is finishing, you could see some symbols next to the team names. They say whether the team will be in the playoffs, play in, or out of the playoffs.

  • Making it to 1st place, or the NSL playoffs, *
  • Making it to the NSL play in, ~
  • Disqualified from the NSL playoffs, ^

  • Win: 2PTS
  • Overtime loss: 1PTS
  • Loss: 0PTS

Standing Points, and playoff modifications before the start of Season 2

New Standing Points

On April 15, 2023, we decided to change the standing pointage after games.

Here are the modifications

  • Win: 3PTS
  • Overtime loss: 1PTS
  • Loss: -1PTS

New Playoffs

As of February, 1, 2024, we came up with another plan with the new conferences in the

NShL

That just recently joined

The way the playoffs will work, for both conferences,

Will have 6 teams moving up in the playoffs

NShL Play In

In the Play In,

Place 6 will take on place 3.

and

Place 5 will take on place 4.

Winner of 3rd place, will hold 3rd place

and

Winner of 4th place will hold 4th place

Round 1

We also call it the

NShL Conference SemiFinals

or

NShL QuarterFinals

In this round, 3rd place will be taking on 2nd place

and

4st place will be taking on 1st place.

Winners will be moving up to the next round.

Round 2

or

NShL conference Championship

or

NShL SemiFinals

In this round, 2nd place will be taking on 1st place

Winner moves up.

Round 3

or

NShL Championship

Both 1st places from each conference will be facing off in a selected state of the Championship game

The winner will take home a championship.

The state is selected during the NShL off season
